Affiliatant is made and operated by Havenswift Hosting Ltd, a hosting company trading since 2006. It is a service we run. It is not licensed software and there is one installation.
Why a hosting company built it
We run shops and billing systems for other businesses. Affiliate tracking came up often enough to be worth building, and the shape we wanted was one where the merchant keeps control of the money.
Affiliatant does not hold funds
It calculates what is owed and produces the paperwork. Payments leave the merchant's account. That keeps Affiliatant outside UK regulated payment services, keeps the merchant's float with the merchant, and is why no percentage is charged on sales, commission or payouts.
Every feature is on every band
The API, the integrations, fraud rules, multi-tier commission, coupon attribution and self-billing are included on the free band and on every paid band. The bands differ in how many attributed conversions a month they cover, and the free band runs one programme, which is one shop.
Where it runs
On our own infrastructure in the United Kingdom. Data is held in the UK. The sub-processors are listed in the privacy notice.
